Farnum Hill Cider fulfills the true meaning of the word “cider” -- an alcoholic beverage made from apples, exactly as a wine is fermented from grapes.

Hi Jennifer, and thanks again for your kind note. We had a REALLY STRANGE apple year this year (read about it on our blog at if you're curious. So the long and short of it is that we have no fruit to sell. However, we do sell our ciders throughout NH and VT, and welcome self-motivated visitors to the orchard pretty much anytime. We also sell our ciders on-site, but you need to be clever to catch us during the winter months. Give us a call anytime at 603 448-1511, and thanks again for your interest. Best, Corrie

I watched "Botany of Desire" on line (excellent docu)
& I was pleased to hear about you.
My family had an apple orchard in the 50's-60's
in the Hudson Valley area of NY.
They moved to Vermont after that...& we are apple wise.
They live not far from you.
I would like to support you.
Do you have produce for sale in local markets?
or do I come to you?

Hi Tracie -- we did open up this weekend for Pick Your Own, so feel free to call 603 448 1511 during our open hours to check out what is happening at Poverty Lane Orchards! We put transaction ads in the Valley News regularly as well so perhaps you can keep an eye out for that. Best, Corrie
