Dooryard 1210 (kegs)

This blend incorporates Golden Russet, Esopus Spitzenberg, Ashmeads Kernel and our big base blend.  The nose has pineapple, BSA (bittersweet apple), lots of citrus: orange and grapefruit. There is a note of faint toffee, as well. The taste is acid ahead of bitter, with juicy fruits, following those in the nose, and dried mango.  The woody tannins are broad and moderately astringent, the feel is moderately full. In the finish, the fruits carry with the acid, the bitter carries in the background, and the fruits begin to condense and dry in flavor.  -Nicole
