Week 5 ’17, Orchard Cider Year
February 2, OUTDOORS: Fallen cuttings behind Jacques, row after row, day after day. He looks small but the wood falls! These gray photos misrepresent today’s nice pearly light. Fitz is on hiatus, will be back in three weeks. (Fitz immediately centers up his cuttings for the chopper, leaving tidy lines. See Week 18, #orchardcideryear ’16. Either style works eventually.) Pruning pruning pruning, plus pruning.
So in many photos Nicole (aka Her Sensory Wowness) appears with nose in glass and hand on pencil. Here’s another common view: flat on floor connecting a hose under a bright tank, pulling final blend samples of the next Semi-Dry. Cozying down to concrete for one more taste to make abso-no-nagging-doubt-billion-percent-lutely sure these tank samples live up to our intent before we bottle. You know it’s Nicole by the hat, and of course by the glamorous surroundings. LDS
