This weekend, look for Farnum Hill Ciders at an entirely new venue, the Atlantic City Convention Center. Our new NJ distributor, Hunterdon Brewing, wants us to launch into the Garden State with a roar of crowds and the clatter of slot machines.

Festival founder Jon Henderson explained Celebration of the Suds recently on BeerAdvocate:

The focus of Atlantic City Beer Fest is the promotion of craft beers and the brewers that create them. The event is the perfect opportunity for beer aficionados, beer lovers, and the casual drinker to speak with the many company representatives and brewers who craft their favorite beers, in addition to offering a venue for discovering new beers.

What goes best with beer? Food. This year’s festival will host a variety of local restaurants offering food that washes down nicely with a great brew – from sausage and peppers, to crab cakes, vendors will be on hand with a variety of foods to satisfy even the pickiest of beer lover.

A great festival experience isn’t complete without great entertainment. The 2010 celebration host a variety of fun and unique entertainment. Each session is kicked off with pipes and drums from the Founders, the Toga Party Band pumps up the crowd with their off the wall antics and great tunes, back by overwhelming request is Olde City Sideshow. New additions to the beer festival is seminars and cooking demos by Gary Monterosso, Rocky Fino , and Shelia Stepkin, Mechanical Bull Riding, sand sculptor by Sand Creations Matt Diebert also featuring appearances by acts supporting the Travel Guitar.

So if you’re out and about on the Jersey Shore, or have plans to attend the Celebration of the Suds, take a break from the lagers, ales and stouts and taste Farnum Hill’s real cider.
